Jo Rose Holistic therapies and Training Newsletter December 2007

Welcome to December's Newsletter.

This year has been a busy one for me, but really enjoyable at the same time.

Those of you who have studying with me to work on animals have been really lucky to have fantastic horses and dogs available to practise on, who have also been great teachers.
Working with animals is an excellent way to hone and trust in your intuitive skills. I hope you love working with animals as much as I do.

Those of you who have been studying with me to work on yourselves and others, I hope have learnt something about yourselves in the process, and have benefited from the techniques you have learnt as well as helping others.

I have also been very fortunate to work with some loving animal owners and their wonderful animals. Its fantastic that so many more people want to communicate with, and understand what their animal really needs for their well being. This also greatly enhances enjoyment and trust in the bond between animal and owner.

Working with Aromatics (plant extracts) has been an amazing addition to my tool kit with animals this year, having had great results with both physical and behavioural problems. I'm so grateful for having been able to study with Carolyne Ingraham (leading researcher in Animal Aromatics). Its really opened my eyes to just how much animals know about themselves; much more than we know about ourselves!

Working one to one with people has also been hugely rewarding.
Our bodies know what we need to be healthy and happy, and accessing that information is possible. Kinesiology is one way of accessing that store of information, and can direct the person I'm working with to make changes for the best in their life. I ensure that everyone I work with is provided with self empowering techniques so that they can enahnce their own health and well being whenever they choose.

I also want to mention how 'creativity' can be so incredibly healing, as I have found in so many one to one therapy sessions and in workshops. Creativity for me means trusting in what you feel and going with it. For example, this may be a visualisation, a movement, a sound, a colour, the possibilities are endless. This 'creativity' can be guided through Kinesiology and / or intuition. Its great stuff.
On the subject of creative courses, I had great fun running yet another very energetic, fun and creative Sound Therapy workshop with the lovely Terry Shubrook. How such a calm and grounded man can shift so much energy about I don't know. What an amazingly energizing afternon that was!

My aim for next year is continue to enjoy what I'm doing and offer it out to more and more people. Its so much fun and so rewarding and amazing; its got to be shared out!
